  14. Make ready 2 tblsp (or 1/2 cup) Amul Cream

  1. Firstly, cut the paneer into cubes. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan. Add the paneer cubes.

  3. Meanwhile, soak cashewnuts and almonds in water for 30 minutes.

  5. Add more 2 tablespoons oil into the same pan in which the paneer was fried. Add cumin seeds and allow it to sizzle.
  6. Add the finely chopped onions and saute till the onions are golden brown in color.
  7. When the onions turn brown, add in the ginger garlic paste and saute it well till the raw smell leaves.
  8. Add in the spice powders ie. kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder and saute it well.
  9. Now add in the puree made with the nuts. Add little water and mix well and saute for few minutes.
  10. Add sugar and salt.
  11. Add water and paneer and mix well.
  12. Cover and cook on low flame for about 15-20 minutes.
  13. Add in kasuri methi leaves (powdered) and awadhi kadhai veg masala or garam masala powder and mix well.
  14. Add in cream and mix well.
  15. Creamy Malai Paneer Gravy is ready. Serve it immediately with roti, paratha, naan, poori, bhaturas etc.
