Add beans, fried cashew, onions (save some for garnish), garam masala, salt and lemon to taste. Cover and finish off cooking till all water evaporates. Add mixed veggies and chopped mint/ pudina. I use peas, beans and carrots most of the times.

  1. Wash rice thoroughly and Soak in water for 5 mins.In a nonstick woj Heat ghee,add Cumin seeds,when splutters add onion and ginger.saute for2_3 min.Add rock salt,turmeric powder,black pepper powder,Black cardamom, bay leaf.saute for a min.
  2. Now add Soaked beans that is chickpeas,Black chana,rajma and rice.Add 1 glass water. Quantity of water depends on quality of rice.if required add some more water.stirr everything well.
  3. Cover with lid and let it cook for30 minutes on line flame.By that time We can be ready for the office,or school or college.Beans Pulao is ready after 30 minutes.Add chopped tomatoes,1 lemon juice,coriander leaves.Mix well.off the flame.Fill the lunch box to carry.Have this tasty,healthy,nutritious Pulao with curd or just as it is.
