- Prepare 3-4 curry leaves chopped
- Make ready 3 tbsp Oil
- Take 1/2 cup water
- Prepare to taste Salt
In Wide Mixing bowl pour in Semolina , yogurt , water, frozen peas , grated carrot, ginger, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well. For Tempering : Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds. The cake is ready when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean and when the edges are crisp. Semolina savory cake is so easy make and tastes very delicious.

- In a mixing bowl add the curd, baking soda, mix well and keep aside for about 5 mins.
- In the curd mixture add the semolina, baking powder, salt as per taste, water and mix well. Keep aside while you make the other ingredients ready.
- In a sauce pan heat 1 tbsp of oil. Add the sesame seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and let it crackle. Remove from heat and pour this over the semolina mixture.
- Now add the remaining ingredients, mix them well and make a batter.
- Preheat oven @180° for 10 mins. Grease a cake pan and keep aside.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and tap the pan for couple of times.
- Bake it in the preheated oven for 30-35 mins. A toothpick inserted should come our clean. Mine took exactly 30 mins.
- Remove from oven, let it cool down, invert, cut and serve.
